"I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins." (Isaiah 43:25)
It may seem like an odd title to this blog, but its actually true. Even as a Christian, it is a struggle. In this world when people mess up and need to be forgiven, many times what was done will hang over them like black cloud because others do not forgive and forget so easily. However, because of what Christ has done, God forgets the sins of those who have been redeemed. He doesn't simply forgive us, then remind us a week later. Rather, He forgives and forgets, forever. Now that's a good reason to be thankful.
"Father, thank You that You do forgive and forget our transgressions. I know how badly I have failed and sinned greviously at times, but I thank you that in Christ I have forgiveness. Lord help me to be more like You and less like me. I ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen."
