"When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost." (John 19:30)
As I near completion of this website, it brings to mind the words of Jesus on the cross. "It is finished." The debt has been paid. Thank our Lord that our eternal lives rest in what Jesus has already done for us. We can be set free so those in Christ can live their lives for Him out of thanks and worship, not out of duty or obligation. While many see today's date (7/7/7) as something significant or unusual, the most important day of them all was the one where Jesus paid the ultimate price for us.
"Lord, I thank You for paying our debt. Thank You that You humbled Yourself and walked amongst us thankless souls. Thank You that we love because You first loved us. Thank You for Your mercy and compassion. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen."
