"Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith?" (Luke 12:27-28)
What awe and wonder is there in God's sovereign provision. Even as the world lives in thankless disobedience and sin, God provides with such incredible patience and longsuffering. Its a wonder such love goes unnoticed. Consider the Saviour, for even as He was whipped, scorned, spit upon and crucified, He forgave those who were killing Him. Its a love that bring tears to your heart and comes only from the Sovereign Almighty.
"Father, thank You so much for Your love and provision. Thank You for your patience and longsuffering. Help us to love You as You first loved us. I ask this in Jesus' Name. Amen."
