If you are a Christian who is prayerfully seeking a church, here are a few resources.

In your search, you'll find many Christian denominations but the Bible does set a model for a local church in the New Testament. A few important characteristics include the church being autonomous or self-governing (1 Peter 5:1-3) with Christ as the Head (Ephesians 1:22-23) and the Bible the sole authority on teaching (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

To find a local church, a good resource is Way of Life's international listing of Independent Baptist Churches.

In addition, for a comparison of Biblical Christianity and Roman Catholicism, a short book entitled Answers to my Catholic Friends can be read online.

May the Lord bless your search.
